Karen Roberts

 Karen Roberts teaches Kindergarten at the Academy.  She spent her early childhood in Louisiana before her family moved to Huntsville in 1983.  She graduated from Grissom High School.  She earned her B.S. in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Alabama in 1993.  Karen’s inspiration to teach came from her grandmother, who taught Kindergarten Sunday school for thirty-five years.  Prior to joining Whitesburg Christian Academy in 2009, she had been teaching in Whitesburg Baptist Church’s weekday program for more than 20 years.  Ms. Roberts is an active member at Willowbrook Baptist Church.  She is a huge Auburn fan.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, watching Auburn and the Atlanta Braves, working Sudoku puzzles, and painting.  Her favorite Bible verses are Jeremiah 29:11, Isaiah 41:10, and Psalm 19:14.
