Tracey Thoenes

Tracey Thoenes is the Interim Upper School Principal and the Upper School Guidance Counselor for the Academy. In addition to her leadership and administrative roles, she also teaches Algebra I. Mrs. Thoenes was born in Japan, but calls Huntsville home. She has a B.A. in Education, and will complete her Master’s in Education/Curriculum and Instruction in May 2010. Prior to joining the staff at Whitesburg Christian Academy in 2003, Tracey taught math and reading in Atlanta, GA and Huntsville, AL. She and her husband, Joachim, are the parents of two children, Kristina and Jonathan. Mrs. Thoenes is an active member at Whitesburg Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching Alabama football, Kentucky basketball, shopping, traveling, and spending time with family. Her favorite Bible verses are Philippians 2: 14-15.
