Nathan Neely

 

Nathan Neely is the Band Director at the Academy. In addition, he teaches 7th Grade Bible and Logic, Beginning Band, Intermediate Band, Advanced Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Jazz Band.  He grew up in Memphis, TN, and Huntsville, AL.  Mr. Neely graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Mobile.  Before joining the staff at Whitesburg Christian Academy in 2008, he served as worship leader for Gateway Baptist Church in Mobile, AL, for two years.  He and his wife, Kimberly, are the proud parents of a daughter, Caitlyn.  Mr. Neely enjoys reading, watching movies, spending time with his family, and playing/writing music.  He is an active member at Southside Baptist Church, where he is in the orchestra and fills in for the worship leader as needed.  His favorite Bible verses are Ephesians 5:15-16.
